I have a four year degree in Engineering from a Military College and work for several large companies in the northeast for the past ten years. A few years ago, I decided to work for myself so I can have more control over my future and the ability to spend more time with my family. My Dad and two brothers live in Florida and own their own business as well. My brother told me about company expanding into Polk County. I am Shawn Matthews from Palm Harbor, Florida. I was in the Retail Grocery Industry for many years, but I felt this was a very monogamous, non-rewarding way to make a living. It was just me, with no support system to back me up.
Since I am a "people person", and I have this creative side, I wanted to have my own business where I could have the best of both worlds. In 2005 I contacted the founder of Grout Busters Systems, Inc, David Smith in Tampa, Florida and we not only became business associates, but we also became good friends. The support and training I received in the beginning has continued throughout the years. I am proud to be a "Grout Buster" and I am happy to make homeowners appreciate our finished product.
