Here at Grout Busters we utilize a three step process that includes the application of Slip Guard™ which eliminates the effect of tiles becoming slippery when wet. This process will create a microscopic texture on the surface of the tile through an etching process. You will not be able to see or feel the texture when it is dry, but when it becomes wet it is absolutely slip proof. Additionally this process will not harm the grout or surrounding areas, and best of all it is permanent.
The use of Slip Guard ™ in the process also ensures your anti-slip application will make your tile floors ADA compliant. An independent test performed by the Tile Council of America showed and increase of nearly 100% in slip resistance when the tile was treated with Slip Guard ™ from Slip Guard Systems Inc..
